Hristina Ivanova

Hristina Ivanova holds a degree in Law and a Master’s degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne. After obtaining her first master’s degree, Hristina deepened her knowledge in the field of European law, continuing with a successful second Master’s degree in European Company Law at the University of Paris – Saclay.

 

Hristina’s work focuses on international law and European Union law. In parallel, she is developing expertise in the field of business law and the law of obligations, while advising Bulgarian and foreign natural and legal persons.

 

Her professional experience includes the preparation of legal analyzes (due diligence), legal opinions and documentation. She provides representation to her clients in the negotiation process, assistance in concluding contracts and out-of-court agreements, as well as advice on legal aspects regarding foreign investments in the Bulgarian market.

 

In 2020 Hristina is part of the Data Protection Coordinator (DPC) team of the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) of the European Commission. As part of her work, she assists the DPC by providing advice and working on the development of model privacy statements, used for the exercise of activities involving the processing of personal data.

 

Thanks to her experience at the European Commission, Hristina successfully advises clients on matters related to the protection of personal data with a view to the effective implementation of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 / “GDPR” /.

 

Hristina is a member of the International Bar Association. 

 

She is fluent in Bulgarian, French, and English and has a good knowledge of Italian.

Dimitar Minchev

Dimitar Minchev is a lawyer and a partner of Equitum. He completed his secondary studies at the French-language Lycée “Antoine de Saint-Exupéry” in Plovdiv, graduated in law at the University of Plovdiv “Paisii Hilendarski”.

 

As part of his work, he provides legal assistance in the field of corporate law, banking law, strategic investment management, mergers and acquisitions and competition law.

 

He has a wealth of professional experience and in-depth expertise in the regulation of cases relating to property law and the law of obligations.

 

Dimitar advises his clients in the renewable energy sources sector in the negotiation process as well as in the preparation of legal documents, studies and analyzes.

 

Dimitar is familiar with procedural techniques and intervenes before all levels of civil and commercial courts.

 

Dimitar is a member of European Lawyers’ Union (U.A.E.).

 

He is fluent in French and English.

Ivan Draganov

Ivan is partner of Equitum and also leading Dealroom.co’s intelligence efforts in consumer tech and online marketplaces. Ivan works closely with top tier VC firms, corporates and (quasi-)government agencies to help them understand the current state of innovation, investment trends and emerging technologies. His research is frequently featured in leading media outlets such as Bloomberg and Financial Times.

In addition, Ivan regularly collaborates with startup founders to perfect their pitches, improve business plan strategy and grasp market dynamics.
Previously Ivan worked on the development of data-driven investment tools and equity research of internet stocks at ABN AMRO Bank in Amsterdam.
Ivan graduated with Cum Laude Financial Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He did his bachelors in Econometrics and Operations research at Maastricht University and wrote his thesis as part of the excellence program MaRBLe.

He speaks English and Russian.

Elodie Laurent

Elodie Laurent holds a degree in Law and a Master’s degree in International and European Law from the Pantheon-Sorbonne University in Paris. She holds a second Master’s degree in European Law from the University of Law in Strasbourg.  

 

Elodie is a consultant for the public sector and for some institutions in France, including the Constitutional Council in Paris.  

 

She has extensive legal experience gained through her work in companies and organisations at the international level such as the Council of Europe. This allows her to provide legal assistance to clients internationally.  

 

Elodie speaks French, English and she has a good knowledge of Spanish and Italian.
